Become a Member of the Miracles in Action Legacy Society

Membership in the Legacy Society is available to anyone who includes Miracles in Action as a beneficiary in a will, trust, or other deferred gift such as a 401(k) plan. Once Miracles in Action has received your confirmation of intent to name us as a beneficiary, you will receive your letter of welcome to the Legacy Society. 

What are the Benefits of Membership in the Legacy Society?

The greatest benefit is the personal joy of knowing that your gift will insure that Miracles in Action is able to help the impoverished people of Guatemala that need our help. Leaving a legacy of learning with your gift provides help for generations to come. With your permission, you will be listed as a Legacy Society member on our website and/or newsletters and printed reports.

What Types of Deferred Gifts are Recognized for Membership?

There are a wide variety of deferred gifts that are best discussed with your attorney and/or accountant, or with a Certified Financial Planning professional. 
The most common are:

• Naming Miracles in Action as a beneficiary in your will• Naming Miracles in Action as the beneficiary and owner of a new or existing insurance policy• Naming Miracles in Action as a beneficiary in your retirement plan, e.g. IRA, 401(k)• Establishing a revocable or irrevocable charitable trust naming Miracles in Action as a beneficiary
